Terms of service
The terms for using this website and the Anatomia product.
The short version.
- A clinic's signed agreement and our BAA come before these terms.
- Anatomia supports clinical decisions. A nurse or doctor makes each one.
- It is not an emergency service. In an emergency, call 911.
- Clinics own their data, and we use it only to provide Anatomia to them.

These terms
These terms are between you and Anatomia, an Entropy & Co company ("Anatomia", "we", "us"). They cover this website, anatomia.health, and the Anatomia product at app.anatomia.health.
By using either, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use them.
Clinics' agreements come first
A clinic uses the product under its own signed order or subscription agreement with us, and our business associate agreement. Those documents set the clinic's fees, service levels and the handling of patient information.
If they conflict with these terms, the clinic's signed agreement and business associate agreement control.
Staff accounts
Staff join the product only when their clinic invites them. If you have an account, you agree to:
- keep your password and second factor to yourself;
- use only the access your role gives you, and only for your clinic's work;
- sign out of shared devices, and tell your clinic's admin if your account is misused;
- follow your clinic's policies and HIPAA when you work with patient information.
Your clinic's admin manages your account and can deactivate it at any time. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
Acceptable use
You may not:
- open a patient's record without a reason your role and the law allow;
- try to reach another clinic's data, or anything your account doesn't give you;
- probe, scan or test the product's security without our written permission;
- disrupt the service, or overload it on purpose;
- copy, resell or reverse engineer the product, except where the law allows it;
- use Anatomia to break any law, or anyone's rights.
If you find a security problem, please report it to security@anatomia.health. We welcome reports made in good faith.
Clinicians make the decisions
Anatomia supports clinical decisions. It does not make them. Its AI suggests a priority, likely causes and cited protocols, and drafts handoffs and messages. Red-flag rules set a floor under the priority.
Every suggestion is reviewed by a nurse or doctor, who decides what happens. The clinic and its clinicians remain responsible for patient care, including the protocols the clinic's medical director adopts.
Not for emergencies
Anatomia is not an emergency service. Anyone with a medical emergency should call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. The patient's secure page and follow-up messages are not watched around the clock.
Your content
Clinics own their data, including patient information and the documents they add. We use it only to provide the product to that clinic, as its agreements allow.
We may use counts and measures that identify no person or clinic to run and improve Anatomia. We never use patient information to train AI models.
Our property
Anatomia, its software, design, text and the starter protocol library belong to us or our licensors. These terms give you no ownership of them.
If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely, with no obligation to you.
The website
You may read and share pages of this website. Please don't copy its design or content for another product. How we handle what you send through the site is in our privacy policy.
Warranties
We work to keep Anatomia available, accurate and secure. The commitments we make to a clinic are in its signed agreement.
Beyond those, the website and the product are provided as they are and as available. To the extent the law allows, we make no other warranties, express or implied. That includes warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or free of errors.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, neither side is liable to the other for indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages. That includes lost profits, revenue or data.
For use of the website, our total liability is limited to one hundred US dollars. For the product, the limits in the clinic's signed agreement apply instead.
Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
Ending use
We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms or puts patients, clinics or the service at risk. Where we can, we tell the clinic first.
When a clinic's agreement ends, its data is returned or destroyed on its instructions, as set out in its agreements.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new date at the top, and tell clinics directly about changes that affect them. Using Anatomia after a change means you accept it.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute about them goes to the state or federal courts in Delaware.
Questions about these terms go to hello@anatomia.health.
