Anatomia

What happens after the phone rings.

Each call becomes a case. A nurse reviews it, a doctor signs off when it needs one, and the patient hears back. Every step goes on the case's timeline.

The case opens while the caller is still talking.

Staff type the call into Log a call. The red-flag rules read along, and AI triage follows once it's logged.

Six steps, and a clinician owns each one.

  1. The call

Staff take it down live in Log a call, or bring in a voicemail or a transcript. It opens as a case.

  2. Triage

Red-flag rules run first. Then AI suggests a priority, likely causes, a disposition and the protocols it cites.

  3. The nurse

The case lands in its queue, most urgent first. A nurse claims it, reads the chart and confirms the priority or changes it.

  4. The doctor

When a case needs one, the nurse hands it off with a drafted SBAR and the doctor signs off the plan.

  5. The callback

The nurse calls back, or sends the answer to the patient's secure page. The case closes with a record of it.

  6. The follow-up

After surgery, check-ins go out by text or email on the guide's days. An answer that needs a nurse opens a case.

The same case, start to finish.

First action

Confirm 911 / EMS called

  • While the call is still live, the red-flag rules tell staff to send the caller to 911.
  • A banner shows across the app, and an unclaimed emergency alerts the team.
  • On-call paging reaches the doctor on duty.
  • Emergency and urgent response targets count around the clock, whatever your hours.
